Omar Lugo is a grassroots organizer, nonprofit leader, and civic engagement advocate with extensive experience working alongside community organizations, local leaders, volunteers, and residents throughout North Carolina.
As the Founder and CEO of The Freedom Hub USA, Omar has led initiatives focused on community education, leadership development, economic mobility, and civic participation. His work has included organizing voter registration efforts, coordinating community outreach campaigns, facilitating leadership trainings, and building partnerships with elected officials, civic organizations, faith-based groups, and local stakeholders.
Drawing from his experience in grassroots organizing and community engagement, Omar specializes in connecting people with resources, developing volunteer networks, and helping community leaders build meaningful relationships that drive positive local impact.
He believes that strong communities are built through informed citizens, collaborative leadership, and active participation in the civic process.
