Event Details

American Majority Minnesota is looking forward to participating in the panel on the 2020 caucus!
CoHosts for the event: Carleton College Department of Political Science and the League of Women Voters of Northfield and Cannon Falls

Below is a draft outline of the event.

  1. Welcome and Introductions: Melanie Freeze, 5 minutes
  2. Panel: 10-15 minutes per person

Panelist 1: Why to caucus. Examples of resolutions and recommendations for writing them?
Panelist 2: How to caucus.
Panelist 3: Clarify the new presidential primary process and introduce people to the Secretary of State Office resources (how to find polling location, key information, etc.).

       3.  10 minutes Q&A

As the League, a non-partisan organization, is co-sponsoring the event, the aim is to provide multiple perspectives to enable all to take action and participate in our communities. The event is open to all community members, but Carleton, St.Olaf, and local high school students will be specifically invited to participate.
