Our nation was founded by ordinary citizen activists desiring a government that was accountable to the people. Today, ordinary citizens across our nation are tired of the status quo and ready to engage for the betterment of their communities. American Majority’s political training addresses these passions by providing education and resources to help you meet your goals.
American Majority is pleased to announce Activist & Social Media Training in Williamson County, Tennessee. The event is open to the public. Location will be the Spark Center at Lipscomb University, 3252 Aspen Grove Dr #9, Franklin, TN 37067.
The training will run from 10am-4pm. The cost is $25 per activist and $50 per candidate.
Training will include the following topics (subject to change):
Building a Grassroots Machine – Politics is a year-round business. In order to be successful, you must assemble and activate your own permanent coalition by recruiting and motivating volunteers. Learn to hold elected officials accountable; work together with other organizations in your area; and successfully achieve common goals.
How to Message to the Heart – The Left has outdone us again and again on the emotive battlefield. Communicate in a way that is actually persuasive, changing hearts and minds rather than uselessly debating points. Learn to combat attacks from progressives and successively win over your voters.
Beginning Social Media – Make your Facebook page stand out and learn to generate as many ‘likes’ and ‘shares’ as possible. In Twitter, Tweet, retweet, mention, use hashtags (in the right context!), follow the right accounts and attract new followers every day by scheduling consistent posts about relevant topics.
Advanced Social Media – Take a look at what conservatives are doing right (and wrong!) online. Dramatically increase your impact on Twitter and Facebook using practical tips you can implement immediately. Learn to create quick but powerful graphics, use free tools, grow your reach and create online content that will spur your connections to meaningful action.
