Oklahoma Wesleyan University Campus Majority Training

American Majority Oklahoma is pleased to announce a Campus Majority Training will be conducted on Wednesday, March 24th at Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to provide college students with the tools necessary to become effective activists for the political issues they care about.  The training in will take place from 3:30 to 5:30pm.

This training is open to all students and faculty at Oklahoma Wesleyan University.  The faculty sponsor is Dr. Dan Wimberly.

Topics* to be covered during the Training include:

  • Government 101 (how government operates, how legislative and executive bodies work, how to get involved)
  • Holding Government Accountable (how to hold leaders accountable once they are in office)
  • Effectively Communicating Your Views (how to write effective letters to the editor, opinion editorials and blogs, using social networking tools and wiki projects)
  • Getting Involved on Campus (how you can make a difference on your campus)

Full training materials, samples and supplements will be provided to help you apply what you learn to your organization, candidate, cause or community.
