How Young Americans are Engaging in Politics Across the States

I had the rare opportunity to go outside of Pennsylvania for the weekend to the Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) State Convention in Kentucky. What an honor it was and a great place to be! I was very impressed with the level of engagement and interaction the YAL staff had with the college students and how many ways they offered their support. The students that were there were fun but very serious about their convections.

I was so impressed with the specificity of questions that they asked on policy.  Anyone who has thought that much needs to be involved in the political process. I would love to hear the response when they get a minute with a representative.

Many asked me about what is the best way to enter the political arena! Oh, to have more young people like this spread throughout the country. They were thoughtful, serious, engaging, smart and just nice to be with!

What a great job YAL is doing with supporting and growing the leaders of the future.

American Majority is partnering with Young Americans for Liberty to offer 12 one-day trainings and networking events across the U.S. this spring designed to build stronger state cooperation, improve our activists’ effectiveness, and inspire attendees to do even more to advance the cause of liberty.
