Our nation was founded by ordinary citizen activists desiring a government that was accountable to the people. Today, ordinary citizens across our nation are tired of the status quo and ready to engage for the betterment of their communities. American Majority’s political training addresses these passions by providing education and resources to help you meet your goals.

American Majority is pleased to announce it is hosting a Campaign & Activism training on April 16 from 9am to 5pm. The event is open to the public. 
 
If you have ever thought about running for office, helping with a campaign or understanding more about the political process, plan on attending this event to learn what candidates need to do in order to win. Learn how to organize volunteer needs and proven campaign strategies to turn out your voters to the polls.
 

The training will be held at the Independence Institute, 727 E 16th Ave, Denver, CO 80203.

The training will be in the training room on the lower level. Enter from the side door and go down the stairs. The training will run from 9am-5pm. Registration opens at 8:30am. The cost is $30 per person. These costs include all training materials, coffee and drinks, as well as a lunch. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. 

 
The Training will include the following topics (subject to change):
 

Campaign Plan: A campaign without a plan won’t get very far- this covers what a campaign plan should look like, what should be on it, and how detailed and flexible it should be. Whether you are a candidate, campaign manager, or key volunteer, this presentation will cover the main bases you will need to understand in order to win.

Building a Grassroots Machine (That Lasts!) This presentation is about how to build a successful coalition. How to hold elected officials accountable while working with other organizations in your area to accomplish a common goal.

Winning Online: Unlocking More Power from Social Media – You post, retweet and share online in a well-meaning effort to express yourself and make a lasting impact for liberty. But are you being effective? Learn what conservatives are doing right … and wrong … online. Take the steps to communicate your views and forge meaningful connections using simple tips and techniques that will dramatically increase your impact.

10 Tips to Full Speed Ahead Because there often isn’t much time between primaries and a general election, the local activist and volunteer is a future leader’s most significant resource. Make the most of your time and resources by following these 10 practical ways to mobilize your community in 2016 and beyond.

GOTV to #Win2016 – Don’t let the distraction of your opponent’s efforts interfere with your own efficiency. Get identified supporters to the polls by implementing successful targeting; techniques; live phone banking; and door-to-door field work.
