This month we’re celebrating five years as the nation’s premier grassroots training organization. Training almost 25,000 activists and candidates nationwide in that time with a staff of twenty has been an exciting challenge and an unforgettable opportunity.

Many of you have trained with us. It’s been an honor to come alongside principled conservatives willing to step out to revitalize their communities. We seek national, generational change which does not begin at the top. It begins at the bottom in as many local communities as possible. And we’ve seen this happen over and over again in the past five years.

Not only have we interacted with thousands of liberty-minded people during our in-person trainings, but we stay constantly connected through our online networks — bringing you the tools to influence your neighbors and Facebook friends. In celebration of our fifth anniversary, we’ve redesigned our site. We also invite you to engage with us on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, and catch a glimpse of our cutting-edge training on YouTube!

It’s exciting. It’s life changing. It’s hard work. I’m proud of every American Majority staffer who has invested a great deal of time and sweat equity into making this organization what it is. They deserve a great deal of credit for not settling, not accepting the status quo, and for saying “Why not?” every time I propose my next out-of-the-box idea.

We’ve learned a thing or two over the past five years. And we will keep learning. We take the idea of creative destruction very seriously — we plan to stay on top of our game and make big change happen despite our relatively small size. We strongly believe that people with bad ideas and good organization always beat people with good ideas and bad organization. We’re determined to implement the right ideas effectively and train thousands more to do so as well.

We look forward to the future — staying true to the fundamentals while embracing cutting-edge database technology to make real grassroots, get-out-the-vote work successful.
