When ego trumps principle and party, what you get is a spoiled election. Murkowski officially joins Crist and Castle among the GOP’s “ModSquad”.
A write in campaign will be a futile effort and grind her into the ground. Few people come prepared to write a candidate in. Only the most loyal supporters will do it, and most likely people who would not have voted for either of the candidates on the ballot anyway. And if you run an “independent” campaign for a liberal candidate, will it not draw off more liberal votes from the Democrat than conservatives from the Republican party?
We have a joke around our house, when we see one of these RINOs go down in an election, We use that tone of voice that Arlen Specter used when he realized that he was loosing control, “Wait a minute, Wait a Minute” We add on and say, Im not done yet, I need more money, I need to rip the government off longer, wait a minute, wait a minute, I am not ready to give up my political power, Wait a minute.
But you see the Arlen specters of Washington forgot the one thing they should never have forgotten, it is the peoples seat.
