Tanner Hirschfeld

A lifelong Virginian, Tanner brings over a decade of hands-on political experience spanning more than thirty races — from local school board contests to U.S. Senate campaigns.
Tanner got his start as a campaign intern in 2016 and steadily rose through the ranks, eventually managing state and federal races before founding his own general consulting firm, through which he has advised and steered campaigns across the country.
Beyond the campaign trail, Tanner spent three years as a Chief of Staff in the Virginia House of Delegates, where he crafted and advanced legislation, advised on votes, managed stakeholder relationships, and oversaw the day-to-day operations of the Delegates’ offices.
Born and raised in Portsmouth, Tanner attended Norfolk Collegiate School and graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in Government. He and his wife live in Fairfax Station with their three children.
