On this day in history on September 17, 1787, thirty nine men signed the document that would become the Constitution of the United States. It deftly set forth the organization and structure of a new form of government for the nascent nation and remains one of the most prized documents in the world. In this episode celebrating Constitution Day, Ned shows listeners what was at stake when those men debated what the government would look like and highlights the importance of the Constitution to this day.
