STAFF BIOGRAPHIES
NATIONAL OFFICE
Ned Ryun - President
 A former presidential writer for George W. Bush and son of former U.S. Congressman Jim Ryun, Ned Ryun is currently the President of American Majority, a national organization committed to identifying and training liberty‐minded leaders. Ned was the co‐founder and former director of the Generation Joshua program.
Ned earned degrees in English and History from the University of Kansas and has co‐authored Heroes Among Us and The Courage to Run with his father and his twin brother, Drew. Ned and his wife, Becca, reside in Northern Virginia with their sons, Nathaniel and James.
Douglas Price - Deputy Director of Development
 Douglas Price began working for American Majority at its inception in 2008 and now serves as Deputy Director of Development. In addition to his development duties, Douglas is the content manager for American Majority’s website and contributes to program development and operations.
Prior to joining American Majority, Douglas was the Deputy Director of Generation Joshua. Douglas is pursuing a Masters of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary-Charlotte and holds a B.A. in Government from Patrick Henry College. Douglas lives with his wife, Amy, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Sarah Mehrens - Office Manager
 Sarah Mehrens began working for American Majority at its inception in January 2008 and serves as the Office Manager. Prior to joining American Majority, Sarah was the Administrator for Generation Joshua for several years. She also worked as the Events Coordinator and Office Administrator for the Federal Relations division of the Home School Legal Defense Association. Sarah is a certified paralegal with an Associate's degree in Paralegal Law. She and her husband and daughter live in the Washington, DC metro area.
Jaoni Wood - Administrative Assistant
Jaoni Wood joined American Majority in October 2008. Before joining the organization, she worked as an Administrative Assistant in an orthodontic office. Jaoni attended Liberty University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in History, specializing in American History and Government. She was a member of Phi Alpha Theta honor society and spent time writing for the student paper and organizing students as campaign volunteers. She also received internships at a major political organization and the White House.
Jaoni lives in Virginia with her husband, Gabe, and their two young sons, Theo and Noah.
KANSAS OFFICE
Dennis Wilson - Regional Director
 Dennis Wilson joined American Majority in May 2008. He has served the state of Kansas as an elected official since 1992, as State Senator, candidate for Lieutenant Governor, County Treasurer, State Representative, and Precinct Committeeman. In addition to his political involvement, Dennis has been involved in small business development since 1968, including the retail automobile and the banking businesses.
Dennis is involved in a number of civic organizations, including serving as Johnson County Community College Foundation Board Member, previously serving as Vice President of the City Union Mission for the poor and homeless, and previously serving on two statewide boards, Kansas Inc. and Kansas Historical Society.
Dennis lives in Overland Park with his wife Vickie. Together they have one grown daughter.
Elizabeth Patton - Field Representative
 Elizabeth joined American Majority in June 2008. She has a Bachelors of Science degree in Political Science with a minor in English from Oklahoma Christian University. Before joining American Majority, Elizabeth worked for the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs, an independent state-based think tank promoting free enterprise and limited government.
At Oklahoma Christian University, Elizabeth was the President of Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society, director of the Campus Voter Registration Drive and took an active role in motivating students to participate in government and politics. Throughout her college career, Elizabeth served on many campaigns and was largely involved in grassroots implementation and organization.
Elizabeth lives in Topeka with her husband, a student at Washburn School of Law.
Beka Romm - Field Representative
 Beka Romm joined American Majority in May 2008. Prior to joining American Majority, she directed student programming and outreach at the Robert J. Dole Institute of Politics while working towards her B.A. in political science and B.S. in journalism at the University of Kansas. While at KU, Beka also served as president of a campus political organization and worked for several political campaigns. She lives in Topeka, KS where she plans to make a home with her fiancé.
Justin Brokar - Intern
 Justin Brokar joined American Majority in October 2008 as an intern at the Kansas office. Justin is currently a freshman at Washburn University and majoring in Political Science. Last May, President George W. Bush congratulated Justin by handing him his diploma at his Graduation from Greensburg High School. While at Greensburg High, Justin was active in the student government and the Young America's Foundation Campus Leader. Prior to working at American Majority, Justin was a Campaign Manager on a Kansas Senate campaign. Justin has served as a local chairman and consultant on gubernatorial, congressional, and statewide races since 2006. In May, Justin was elected as a National Delegate for a major political party. On many occasions, Justin has been featured by the Presidential Prayer Team, Golf Digest, and many other influential publications.
LOUISIANA OFFICE
Jennifer Grigsby - Field Representative
 Jennifer Grigsby joined American Majority in June 2008 as a Field Representative for the state of Louisiana.
Prior to joining American Majority, Jennifer worked for the Louisiana State Senate serving as the Legislative Assistant for District 35. During the past 5 years she has formed and maintained professional relationships with community leaders and elected officials. During her time working for the Senate, she addressed constituent concerns, collaborated closely with other Senate staff members and lobbyist on key political issues, attended public meetings and kept a close focus on all community issues. She has been involved in numerous fundraisers and has organized public consortiums. Jennifer, also, has a background in real estate and sales.
Jennifer resides in Baton Rouge with her son, Rhett Remington.
Jay Vicknair - Field Representative
 Jay Vicknair began working for American Majority in April 2008. Before joining American Majority he worked for Southwest Computer Bureau Inc.’s Political Division as a grassroots technology and direct mail consultant.
Jay is a 2005 graduate of Louisiana State University with a B.A. in Political Science.
MINNESOTA OFFICE
Lonny Leitner - Regional Director
 Lonny Leitner, Minnesota Regional Director, started working for American Majority at its launch in 2008. Lonny has worked in Minnesota politics the last two campaign cycles as Regional Field Director for Bush-Cheney 2004 and Political Director for Congressman Mark Kennedy's U.S. Senate bid in 2006.
Lonny graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI, with a B.A. in Political Science. Lonny currently resides in Saint Paul, Minnesota, where he was born and raised.
OKLAHOMA OFFICE
Seth Brown - Field Representative
 Seth Brown began working for American Majority in March of 2008 as a field representative for the state of Oklahoma.
Prior to joining American Majority, Seth worked for State Farm Insurance. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a B.A. in Communication and currently resides in Norman, Oklahoma, with his wife, Teresa, and daughter, Grace.
Pam Pettyjohn - Office Administrator
Pam Pettyjohn began working for American Majority in March of 2008. Along with her administrative duties, she supports the Oklahoma Field Representatives by coordinating and planning Candidate Training Seminars.
Prior to working for American Majority, Pam served as an administrative & accounting assistant for a local manufacturing company while completing her Associate Degree in Liberal Arts. She has two daughters; Whitney, who lives in New York City and Chelsey, who attends college in Tulsa.
