With the end of mid-term election season quickly approaching, nearly every poll, blog post, and even MSM news story has come to a similar conclusion: at least one house in Congress (and possibly both) is almost guaranteed to flip from one party to another. And on a larger scale conservative and center/right candidates should also…

Still have friends/colleagues that believe candidates running on conservative principles across the country represent the “fringe” and are unelectable? Well, have them check out this piece by Josh Kraushaar in Hotline entitled “Revenge of the Right.”

Recent polls have shown that the number of likely voters in Wisconsin who identify themselves as “conservative” is far greater than those who would use “liberal” or “moderate” as a label. It isn’t just one poll either. A McClatchey-Marist Poll (September 26-28, 2010) in Wisconsin found 47% of likely voters label themselves a conservative, compared to 20% for liberal and 33% for moderate. A CNN/Time Poll (September 17-21, 2010) showed 47% conservative, 19% liberal, and 32% moderate among Wisconsin likely voters. A Gallup poll showed the percentage of conservatives at 43% of Wisconsin likely voters.

Every few years it seems the Democrats find a new way to “improve” the voting system without allowing any changes to actually protect the system. These ideas usually center around “fairness” and minorities. As noted previously, Democrats will stop at nothing to protect their base, leaving quite a few states to become “testing grounds” for…
Read MoreDemocrats: Voter Fraud for Thee, but not me
Despite a tumultuous history of outright racism and an affiliation with the Klu Klux Klan, the Democratic party has laid claim to all minorities and become the so-called “champion” of the oppressed. Of course, this path requires an unlimited supply of victims and, apparently, a disregard for the law. With less than two weeks remaining before the mid-term elections,…

My colleague told me about this interesting turn of events in Benton County regarding one of the election commissioners chartering a flight to pick up an election machine part. Sure, it was necessary, but couldn’t folks in charge planned a little better? You be the judge. https://www.nwaonline.com/news/2010/oct/15/charter-flight-raises-questions/

Here we are, folks…just under three weeks from what promises to be one of our nation’s most historic elections. But some races may be historic for reasons other than the narrative being portrayed across the land. Be prepared for the possibility that predictions of a landslide are way off-base.

This election cycle has definitely been quite unique. Candidates carefully omit any party affiliation on their yard signs and push cards, hoping to avoid “that” question when going door to door. Political ads paid for by DC insiders try to hit all of the candidates on one side of the political aisle, telling me that…

Our esteemed colleagues at the Oklahoma Council for Public Affairs (think Heritage Foundation in Oklahoma), have pointed out what few on the left are willing to admit. The 2010 primary season was, for the most part, a good one for limited government, freedom-loving conservatives. The American people clearly demonstrated that they are tired of…
